My Profile

On the My Profile page, you can view information about your account such as the user roles to which you are assigned, and the attributes assigned to those roles. Additionally, you can make changes to your personal information such as you name, default locale, phone number, email address, password, and security questions.

  • To open the My Profile page, click the menu button, and then click My Profile.

The My Profile screen is organized into three tabs:

  • Profile – where you can view and make limited change to the Properties, User Roles, and Role Attributes.
  • Password – where you can change your password.
  • Security Question – where you can change your security questions and answers.
  • Multifactor Authentication (MFA) – where you can reset your Multifactor Authentication settings

Profile tab

The Profile tab consists of 3 panels, Properties, User Roles, and Role Attributes.

In the Properties panel, you can make changes to your name (first, middle, and last). You can also change the Default Locale option which will change the language in which IAM is displayed.

You can change your Email address and Email Communications Preference as well.

You can enter a phone number and country code which will be used for multi-factor authentication in a future release.

You can also change your Send Event Update Emails preference.

In the User Roles section, you can see the roles to which you are assigned. You cannot make changes to this section.

In the Roles Attributes section, you can see information about the role attributes assigned to you. By clicking the number value in the Assigned Data Profiles column (if present), you can review the Data Profiles/Items assigned to the role attribute. You cannot make changes to this information.

On the Password tab, you can reset your password whenever you need to.

1. To change your password, type your current password in the Current Password field.

2. Type your new password in the New Password field.

3. Re-type your password in the Confirm Password field.

  1. On each of the five lines, select a question from the Questions list.
  2. In the corresponding Answers field, enter the answer to the question you selected. The answer is obfuscated as you type for security purposes, so take note of exactly how you are typing your answer so you can provide the correct answer if challenged when performing a password reset due to a forgotten or expired password.
