- Description
Every application must have a partner profile assigned to it. The partner profile contains the partner attributes, or data elements such as the organization ID, that link a user from an application to Identity Access Management. When you assign an application to a role and then assign a user to that role, the user has access to that application. The partner attributes for the application are assigned to the user as user attributes. You can review the user attributes for a user on the Users page.
Partner attributes are set up by Dayforce on the Partner Profile page when a new application is set up to be accessed through Identity Access Management. The partner attribute source must be set up first, on the Partner Attribute Source page, before attributes can be linked to a source and assigned to a partner profile. A partner profile may contain multiple partner attributes.
Note: An application can't be deleted if a partner profile is still assigned to it, and the Delete option for the application won't be available. You must first delete all partner profiles assigned to the application.
After an application is deleted, users who previously had access to the application can no longer access it.
