Change Password - Set New Password
Use the Change Password - Set New Password page to change your Dayforce Identity Access Management (IAM) password before it expires.

Your organization's security policy controls how frequently your password expires. The Dayforce default number of days after which user account passwords expire is 24 days. When your password expires, you must change it before you can continue to use Identity Access Management.
If you don't change your password before it expires, your account is disabled and you must contact your system administrator to enable it.
The default password requirements set by Dayforce are that the password:
- Must be a minimum of 7 characters
- Must contain at least 3 of the following:
- Numbers
- Capital letters
- Lower-case letters
- Special characters including [~`!@#$%^&*()+=|\{}':;.,<>/?[\]""_-]
- Is case-sensitive
- Can't be the same as your previous 24 passwords
The password policy for the organization controls the specific requirements for your password. For more information, contact the organization administrator.
- On the Sign In page, enter your User Id and Password.
- Click Sign In.
- On the Password Expiration page, click Yes - Change Password.
- On the Change Password - Set New Password page, enter your current password, and then enter a new password and enter it again to confirm it.
- Click Save. A confirmation message appears stating that your password was changed successfully. IAM also sends an email to your email account that your password was changed.
- Click OK to dismiss the message. The Home page appears.
You can change your password on the My Profile page in IAM.
- To open the My Profile page, click the menu button, and then click My Profile.
- To change your password, type your current password in the Current Password field.
- Type your new password in the New Password field.
- Re-type your password in the Confirm Password field.
- Click Save.
